Hydraulic Deep Drawing Press
Hydraulic deep drawing press is one of the most commonly used press machines in the industry nowadays. It is used by any manufacturers in the production of a variety of industrial objects as well as items used in daily basis. Regarding the industrial applications, many are applied to furniture, sports, consumer electronics, and household appliances. The size of the die determines the corresponding sizes of the press machines to be used. As a result, generally, if manufacturers do require an item whose size is largely different from ordinary products, the scales of their hydraulic deep drawing machines would be different. To be precise, deep drawing has been classified into conventional and unconventional deep drawing processes. The main aim of unconventional deep drawing process is to expand the original formability limits of the work piece. Some of the unconventional processes include Aquadraw process, hydromechanical deep drawing, Hydroform process, etc. All these unconventional deep drawing operations are designed by press manufacturers for specific purposes and are subject to a great variety of changes.
If compared with other press machines such as try out press and ordinary production press, the mechanical force of hydraulic deep drawing press machine would be much stronger because the primary task of this kind of machines is to make deep drawing on the work pieces no matter of its material essences. Moreover, since deep drawing press machines are responsible for real and massive production of products, the mechanical strength are not only confined to the forces, but also to many other specifications. For instance, many hydraulic deep drawing press machines are equipped with heavy-duty emulsions, phosphates, white lead, and wax films in order to reduce the great force of friction that is caused during operation.
Manufacturers of hydraulic deep drawing press machines may use high tensile materials to achieve higher accuracy and to make the machines with better platen parallelism adjustment when the die is cutting work pieces under great pressure. Besides, modern hydraulic deep drawing machines are installed with many safety devices to ensure the safety of dies as well as onsite operators. With a more complete protection for both onsite operators and die objects, the manufacturing of products are thus under better condition, promising preferable results to suppliers and customers.
Many of the hydraulic deep drawing press machines are designed with acute characteristics especially on the rigid drawing phases, because it is necessary that the punches that cause cutting of one end hurt the corresponding other side of the die parts. Contrary to hydraulic deep drawing presses, die/ mold spotting press machines are designed for both mold and die spotting usages, and if it is applied to die spotting, the modification and relevant settings would be much different to the condition that it is applied to deep drawing operations as the die spotting emphasis on the trial but deep drawing is for mass production as its primary task. Experienced onsite workers know how to tilt the plate and make the setting suitable for the targeted tasks.
